August tends to an event filled month. The valley is busy with tourists. Some say its the busiest month of the year, it certaibnly feels it. It is best to plan ahead and attempt to beat the crowds.
Take advantage of the Grand Teton Music Festival and take in an evening concert. Hike, bike raft, fish, do it all. There is certainly plenty to do. The long days leaver plenty of daylight to get out and explore.
