Your Guide to Sled Dog Adventures In Jackson Hole

Discovering Jackson Hole under paw power is a unique and exciting way to explore the area! If early storms drop enough snow, dogsledding is a possibility.Explore our winter wonderland, gliding along on the sled's runners with the dogs trotting ahead of you take in the crisp, clean air and spectacular scenery. You may even have the opportunity to mush the dogs yourself. Taking control of the sled and guiding your team through the pristine wilderness areas that surround our valley is quite an exhilarating experience. Our dogsledding preferred vendors will give you a true feel & love for the sport of dogsledding and the wonderful dogs! Depending on snow conditions, the season can start as early as late November and often times runs well into April.

Full Day Tours

Full day trips pick up in town at 8:00 a.m. and return at approximately 4:30 p.m. Full day trips will offer the widest variety of tours available. They include a hearty lunch, and hot soups and beverages.

Half Day Tours

Half day trips pick up in town at 8:00 a.m. and return at approximately 1:30 p.m. Half day trips include hot beverages and soups. Afternoon half day trips pick up in town at 11:45 a.m. and return at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Dress as if you were going skiing. They provide blankets etc. to make riders comfortable.

General Information

Pricing for the various trips range from around $225 a person up to $295 a person for full day tours.
On guided tours snacks, water and a pack are typically provided by the vendor, for full day adventures lunch will be included.
Transportation is often provided.
Cancellation policies for these companies vary, from 24 hours prior to the trip to 2 weeks notice, otherwise there is a 100% cancellation fee.
