Your Guide to Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park is the world's first naional park. Its rich geological history plays an intergral role in creating what you see today.
The park is suitable for day tripping from the Jackson area, just be prepared for a long day. The weather can be sporadic during the late Fall. Snow is always a possibility considering the elevation of the park is mostly above 7000'.
The best wildlife viewing can be found in the early mornings and evenings. One can anticipate seeing elk, moose, bear, eagles, big horn sheep, buffalo, coyotes, swans and pronghorn antelope.
