Your Guide to Grand Teton National Park
Grand Teton National Park is a gem within the National Park System. The snow capped peaks provide an amazing backdrop for your day of adventure.
The park is suitable for day tripping from the Jackson area since it is just a few miles down the road. Winter access is limited, the majority of the parks roads remain unplowed during the winter months. There are many access points from which one can explore the park by snowshoe or cross country skis. The serenity of the park during this time of year is quite refreshing.
The best wildlife viewing can be found in the early mornings and evenings. One can anticipate seeing elk, moose, eagles, buffalo, coyotes, and swans. Many animals migrate from Jackson in the winter time and return each summer.

General Information
The daily winter use fee is $5 per person.Annual passes are $50 and is good for Yellowstone National Park as well.
One may also use an Interagency Pass, an annual pass which good for most federal recreation areas and costs $80.
